A little late to the game, but the wife and I did get a chance to visit the poppy flowers reserves to witness this year's California super bloom. California's state flower since 1903, the poppy is a beautiful, bright, orange flower that blooms from early to late spring. Usually there are only a few and not that many people frequent them. This year however, it rain incessantly for weeks, yielding the subsequent super bloom that attracted numerous crowds...
